To become a voting member:
- Nominations are submitted and elections are held at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) every school year in September
- If you’re interested in joining after the AGM, please fill out the nomination form and email it to CSPC at cspc.josyfcardinalslipyj@tcdsb.org

- Pizza Program
- The pizza program at JCS is a great way to give parents a break in the kitchen from making lunches every Friday morning! All proceeds raised go directly back to the school to help support student activities throughout the year.
- Bylaws
- The Bylaws committee ensures that the CSPC bylaws are kept up to date with TCDSB standards, and that JCS CSPC operates in compliance to and spirit of these bylaws.
- Grants & Sponsorships
- Do you have a way with words? The grant committee researches grant opportunities with different organizations and provides submissions to become eligible for various grants for music, technology, sports equipment and more! Also, if you work for a company that offers grant opportunities that can help our school, please let us know.
- Fundraising Committee
- Fundraising at JCS has many benefits for our children. It is an opportunity for the community to come together and raise money to enhance school programs and student experiences. Through fundraising we can add to the rich learning that is going on each day. An added benefit is building relationships and getting to know parents we may not have met otherwise. Join us! We are always looking for new, creative ideas.
- Greening Committee
- JCS students spend approximately an hour of each day outdoors for recess and our committee works to continuously improve our outdoor yards with a focus on the environment. We work to secure grants and partner with the TCDSB to design outdoor areas to enrich students’ interaction with the environment. If you are interested in supporting more environmental interaction for our students, please reach out to us.
- St Nicholas Day Committee
- The St. Nicholas committee helps to ensure that our beloved Sv. Mykokaj visits our school each year bearing gifts for every student at JCS. Join this committee if you’d like to help coordinate this magical visit for the students.

- A strong sense of school spirit helps facilitate a strong bond between students, teachers, parents and their school. Our objective is to support and execute initiatives that create an atmosphere of happiness and positivity, which is crucial for academic success. Join our team!
